A vaulted great room is at the heart of the home. This large, naturally illuminated area is spacious enough to accommodate a couple of couches, an easy chair or two, and a home entertainment center. Maybe even a desk for the family computer. The second floor landing is open, so from this vantage point you can watch the goings-on below.
Cupboard and counter space in the country kitchen is more than ample. It wraps around four sides and includes a step-in pantry. In the nook, an alcove with a desk is behind a three-sided gas fireplace.
You’ll never feel shut in, working in this kitchen. Standing at the kitchen sink, you can gaze out a window. Range and oven are just a few steps away and the view there is even better. You can look across the eating bar, into the nook, out through the sliding glass doors onto the deck, and beyond.
A pocket door separates the kitchen from a bayed dining room with a high ceiling. Utilities and a small bathroom are convenient to both the garage and the entry.
Amenities in the Albany’s owners’ suite include a huge walk-in closet and a luxurious bathroom with twin vanities, oversized shower, spa tub, and private toilet.
