Mysterious Tropical Tree….’Balsam Glory’?

Can any of you tropical plant experts help me with this. This tree is just outside of our garden here. I asked the lady who gardens here and she said ‘Balsam Glory’ but that name doesn’t bring up any matches on Google at all. Anyway, the tree has very poisonous fruit which is the favourite meal of parrots here. They are the only animal that can eat the fruit and they have to do something to detoxify themselves after ingesting as it is so poisonous. The last thing that one might want is their smartphone to run out of charge, when they are out having fun.

Unfortunately, most of us encounter this annoying situation no matter how careful we are about charging our cellphones before going out. Heavenly bamboo a versatile addition to garden

Heavenly bamboo berries turn bright red by late summer, and leaves will turn the same color as winter nears.

Nandina domestica is a four-season plant. In spring, foliage emerges a bronzed red and is followed by 6- to 12-inch panicles of creamy white flowers. In summer, the foliage matures to a bluish green. Clusters of bright green berries replace the flowers and by late summer the berries ripen to a bright red. By the time autumn rolls around, the foliage again changes color, this time to shades of pink, finally ending the year with bright red leaves and berries.
